CJ’s Picnic Rolls 🥐
My mom has been making these for YEARS! The little recipe that you see on the counter in this video? She clipped and saved that from an old Seventeen Magazine from the 70s!
I highly suggest doubling (or tripling) this recipe because these will go fast.
Ingredients
1 egg
1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
3/4 cup chopped salami
2 tablespoons chopped scallions
1 can crescent roll dough
2 teaspoons sesame seeds
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a bowl, combine the cheese, salami, scallions, and egg.
Roll out the crescent dough and separate it into 4 rectangles.
Add the filling along the long side of each rectangle.
Roll the dough around the filling and connect the ends to make a donut shape.
Brush the tops of each roll with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
Bake for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
